Performing Arts Summer Camp

A fun, engaging summer experience for elementary students in Indian Trail & Charlotte!

At Lanti Performing Arts in Indian Trail, our summer camps for ages 9–12 combine acting, music, movement, and storytelling in a creative, structured environment led by experienced performing arts educators. Designed for students ready for more independence and creative challenge, these camps build confidence, collaboration, communication skills, and stage presence—while still keeping summer fun and inspiring.

Select weeks from June 15–August 7, 2026 • In-person at Lanti Performing Arts, Indian Trail, NC • Monday–Friday • Half-Day options (9:00–12:00 or 1:00–4:00)

K-POP DEMON HUNTERS
A high-energy, imaginative camp inspired by K-pop style, fantasy worlds, and hero storytelling. Campers sing along to K-pop favorites, learn fun dance combos, play creative games, and step into dramatic “demon hunter” missions through storytelling and movement. This camp focuses on confidence, creativity, teamwork, and FUN — no experience required.

DANCE INTENSIVE: MUSICAL THEATRE
A technique-driven dance camp designed for musical theatre performers. Students train in Broadway-style choreography, storytelling through movement, and performance precision while building strength, confidence, and stage presence.

STRANGER THINGS: A MURDER MYSTERY
A suspense-filled acting camp inspired by the mystery, teamwork, and storytelling style of Stranger Things. Campers create characters, uncover clues, and solve an unfolding mystery through acting games, improvisation, and collaborative scene work in a fun, screen-free environment.

MODERN MUSICALS REVUE
A high-energy musical theatre camp featuring today’s most popular, contemporary shows — including music inspired by SIX, Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen, and other current musical theatre favorites. Campers sing, move, and perform ensemble numbers while building confidence, musicality, and stage presence.

WICKED WONDERS OF OZ
A focused acting camp for teens exploring multiple acting styles used in theatre, film, and television, including improvisation, scene work, on-camera technique, and foundational methods such as Stanislavski-based realism, Meisner listening and response, and Uta Hagen techniques. Campers build confidence, communication skills, emotional truth, and versatility for both stage and screen performance through coached scenes and hands-on training.

ACTING INTENSIVE: STAGE & SCREEN

ROCK BAND RELOADED
A collaborative music camp where students form bands, rehearse together, and perform popular songs. Campers build musicianship, teamwork, and confidence while learning how to play, listen, and communicate as part of a live group.

JUNE 22–26 | 9am-3pm | Ages 7–16 | $425

DISNEY’S DARE TO DREAM
Join us for a magical week of characters, courage, and creativity as performers bring Disney’s Dare to Dream to life. Campers learn scenes, movement, and storytelling while building a joyful show that celebrates bravery and imagination, ending with a final performance. No experience necessary.

JULY 6–10 | 9am-3pm | Ages 9–18 | $425

MARY POPPINS JR.
It’s “practically perfect” fun as performers step into the world of Mary Poppins Jr. Campers learn whimsical choreography, memorable scenes, and ensemble storytelling, culminating in a heartwarming performance for family and friends. At least one prior show experience required.

  • Does my child need prior performing arts experience?
    No experience is required. Our camps are designed for both beginners and students with some background in music, theatre, or dance. Activities are adapted to support a wide range of experience levels.

  • What is a typical day like?
    Each camp day includes acting games, music and movement activities, storytelling, creative challenges, and collaborative projects in a structured, engaging environment.

  • Will my child perform for an audience?
    Most half-day camps focus on the learning experience rather than a formal performance. Some camps may include informal sharing or end-of-week activities, but there is no pressure to perform.
