We’re proud to be voted Best Music Lessons in Union County, and we’re grateful for the families—both returning and new—who trust us with their musical journey. Our summer private music lessons and audition prep program is designed to support growth, flexibility, and momentum during the summer months. Whether your child has been studying with us all year or is just getting started, summer is a wonderful time to learn music in a more relaxed, focused way.
Flexible Summer Music Lessons for Kids & Teens
Summer private lessons at Lanti are thoughtfully designed for real-life summer schedules. With longer lesson times, fewer weekly commitments, and flexible scheduling, students can continue making meaningful progress while still enjoying summer camps, travel, and family time. Families schedule lessons through our online system (Acuity) and choose from available lesson times throughout the summer session.
What We Offer
We offer private music lessons in Piano & Keyboard, Voice (Singing), Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele. Our experienced teachers work with beginners through advanced students, tailoring lessons to each student’s age, experience, and goals. New students are always welcome, and returning students continue working with teachers they know and trust whenever possible.
How Summer Private Lessons Work
Summer private lessons are structured as four 45-minute lessons, which may be scheduled anytime between June 15 and August 7. Lessons do not need to occur on the same day or time each week. Families may space lessons out, skip weeks, or schedule lessons closer together based on availability. Lessons may be scheduled and rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. This format allows for deeper instruction, fewer trips to the studio, and a more relaxed summer rhythm—while still supporting real musical growth. All lessons must be completed by August 7.
Scheduling Your Lessons
On May 1, or upon registration after that date, families will receive a scheduling link via email. This link provides access to available lesson times offered by your assigned teacher throughout the summer. Students new to Lanti will be thoughtfully matched with a teacher based on age, experience, and learning style to ensure a strong and supportive fit.
Summer Tuition & Billing
Summer private lessons are offered at a reduced summer rate to make continued learning accessible and flexible during the summer months.
Returning students are billed $125 per month on June 15th and July 15th.
New students enrolling for summer private lessons pay the full summer tuition of $250 upfront at the time of enrollment.
Both options cover the same four 45-minute summer lessons.
Registration Fees
There is no summer registration fee for returning academic-year students. New students are subject to a one-time $30 summer registration fee. Summer tuition and registration fees are non-refundable.
Priority Scheduling for the Academic Year
Students who remain enrolled in private lessons through the summer receive priority access to August scheduling for the upcoming academic year before scheduling opens to new or returning students.
Optional Summer Opportunities
Summer private lesson students may be invited to participate in a casual outdoor summer showcase, offering a fun, low-pressure way to celebrate progress and share what they’ve been working on. Private students enrolled during the summer may also receive a special bonus toward our Rock Band Camp. Details will be shared with enrolled families.

Summer offers a lighter, more flexible rhythm that allows students to focus and grow without the pressure of a full academic schedule. With fewer outside commitments, lessons feel more relaxed and productive.
Longer days make it easier to balance practice with travel and summer activities, while short-term goals help boost confidence and motivation. For many students, summer lessons become a creative outlet that keeps minds engaged and skills sharp—without burnout.
