Our Story.

We could make a list of noteworthy things and talk about the owners of Lanti Performing Arts, Pedro and Sarah. We’d mention the “professional” things like Pedro’s degrees in Social Work and Youth Ministry or Sarah’s degree in Music Education and her Master's Degree in Special Education. We’d talk about the “pretty-packaged” things like how they’ve always loved working with kids and finding ways to serve. We’d even tell you that they opened their first music teaching studio just outside of NYC before moving to the Charlotte area and doing it all over again.

But that’s only part of how Lanti got started.

Pedro & Sarah would tell you

that

Lanti started when…

I [Sarah] was 7 years old and “played teacher” with my siblings. It started when I was 10 and the church pianist let me sit at the piano bench to turn pages for choir. It started when I sang my first solo, played flute in the band, and then started piano lessons. It began during long hours of rehearsals and about a billion hours of practice.

Lanti was beginning when I nervously stumbled through my first audition and when I performed in a 6,000-person stadium. Lanti started when I was given performance opportunities that took me around North America and Europe.

It began when I taught my way through college, completed my education degrees, and stepped into the first of many classrooms.

“Being passionate about the performing arts, having a heart for teaching, sharing years of knowledge – well, that doesn’t have a start date. It’s a synthesis of your whole life. It's who you are."

And it all came to life when I met Pedro who had the vision to reach more students by creating a team of like-minded, creative, and passionate teachers.

Lanti Performing Arts is more than a business.

It’s more than a list of stuffy facts and degrees on the wall. It’s a culmination of success and failure - a lifetime of experiences. It’s an ongoing adventure and we’d love for you and your family to join us.
